It was at the National Arts Club at Gramercy Park and the inside was so beautiful. I totally envy those who get to hang out there and grab a drink at that wooden bar with a mosaic glass skylight above them whenever they feel like it.

Just around the corner, Gerald and Thomas’ first curated show, Better Beasts, opened at the Broadway Gallery.
Lots of people came and fun was had by all.

Chiken Coop.

Sophie Lvoff. She just had an opening herself. www.show-one-2008.com.

I finally got to see VBPA in full effect. Mostly their artistic process involves a careful combination of sleep deprivation and Red Bull.

Nate Hill. I later got to watch the Super Bowl in his presence. No big deal.

Leslie Grant. I still owe you $30!

John Kilduff. He was on Tyra!

Lisa!! Looking at David McBride’s painting.

Later we went to a secret party spot in SoHo with the Steadfast Associates and Aldona got her tooth chipped off by a nice cold bottle of Stella Artois.

I went to the Wayne presentation on a very rainy Friday and they had a cool Japanese blues singer performing throughout. He reminded me a lot of Nicolai Dunger.

How rad is this girl’s face??

Too bad I’ve been too busy to really enjoy it! Even so, check out some photos at www.refinery29.com or Huffington Post.

Paul Mooney says James Brown’s looks have come to resemble that of an old asian woman. You be the judge.
